JURY 3rd International Composer Competition «New Music Generation 2021»

Rakhat-Bi Abdyssagin (Kazakhstan) — Artistic Director and Chairman of Jury, composer and pianist, author of 2 operas and more than 150 classical music compositions. Master of Art Sciences, winner of ‘Daryn’ State Youth Award, holder of the Honorary Badge ‘For Merits in the Development of Culture and Art’ of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, member of Association of Tchaikovsky Competition Stars. Winner of the National project ‘100 new faces of Kazakhstan’.

JURY MEMBERS:

Jin Baek (South Korea) — Conductor, Artistic Director of Gyeongbuk Philharmonic Orchestra Orchestra (GPO) and Busan Festival Orchestra. He is an Artistic director of Busan Maru International Music Festival. He has also been a Principal Guest Conductor of China’s Tianjin Symphony Orchestra since 2004. He is currently working as conducting professor at Dongseo University Graduate School.

Ivan Fedele (Italy) — Composer, Chevalier de ‘L’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres’ of France, Academic, Professor of Composition at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome. In 2012-2019 he was director of the Music Section of the Venice Biennale.

Ernest Hoetzl (Austria) — Principal Conductor of EuroSymphony SFK, Artistic Director of Musikverein Kärnten and Jeunesse Kärnten, Professor at University of Music Graz. Holder of Honorary Cross for Science and Art of the Republic of Austra, Gold Merit for Achievements for the Republic of Austria, Gold Merit of the Province of Styria, Grand Merit of the Province of Carinthia.

Yuri Kasparov (Russia) — Honored artist of the Russian Federation. Was awarded by the badge of Kazakhstan ‘Madeniet Salasinin Uzdigi’. Chevalier de ‘L’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres’ of France. Professor of Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory.

Martin Loridan (France) — Composer, he has been awarded prizes in international competitions such as the Rain-Foundation Composition Price, Prix André Jolivet, Vareler Kompositionpreis. Professor of contemporary music at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels, Belgium.

Alessandro Solbiati (Italy) — Composer, Professor of Composition at the Conservatorio di Musica ‘Giuseppe Verdi’ in Milan. His works are regularly recorded for Stradivarius, Decca, EmaVinciRecords, Limen Music, Bis Records, Tactus et al.
