Artistic Director of Gyeongbuk Philharmonic Orchestra Orchestra(GPO) and Busan Festival Orchestra. He is an Artistic director of Busan Maru International Music Festival. He has also been a Principal Guest Conductor of China’s Tianjin Symphony Orchestra since 2004. He had been in the position of an Artistic Director of Masan Philharmonic Orchestra for eight years from 2003.
He is currently working as conducting professor at Dongseo University Graduate School.

Emil Ribarski received the degree Doctor of Piano Interpretation on 7th of February 2020 defending the Doctoral Thesis at the University Ss. Cyril and Methodius: The Pianistic Texture in the Piece “24 Preludes Op. 28” by Frederic Chopin.

He represented Austria at the ISCM World New Music Days 2012 in Belgium and 2015 in Slovenija. He has been awarded with the Publicity Prize of the SKE Austro Mechana 2013 and the Förderungspreis of the City of Vienna 2014, Kompositionspreis der Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart 2020 and the Erste Bank Kompositionspreis of Wien Modern / Klangforum Wien 2020.
He is founder of the ensemble Black Page Orchestra.
